Seedless grape production. An undersized seed is removed from a sliced grape (Vitis sp.) using tweezers. The developing embryo can be removed from the seed and engineered to produce new experimental seedless grape varieties. This technique has been pioneered by scientists from the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in the USA.
