An abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), is a procedure where excess fat and skin is removed from the lower abdomen and the muscles of the abdominal walls are tightened. Here, the surgeons have cut around the navel and are freeing it from the surrounding skin (centre), while the breast nipples are being stitched (right).
