The Petronas Towers, once the highest buildings in the world at 1,483 feet high, were eclipsed in height by Taipei 101, in Taiwan. As of the date of this photograph, the Petronas are the highest twin towers in the world. Seen here one is silhouetted by the sun, itself about to be blocked by a fast moving thunderstorm.
