Garden border in winter. Dogwood (Cornus alba, red stems), ash (Fraxinus sp., centre) and willow (Salix alba vitellina 'Britzensis', orange stems, right). These plants are grown for their attractive young stems which are particulary evident in winter. The plants below the ash tree are Euonymus 'Emerald Gaiety'. Photographed at RHS Rosemoor, Great Torrington, Devon, UK.
