Hodgkin's disease is a type of lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes), and it can spread (metastasize) to the liver to produce lesions. Hodgkin's disease differs from other lymphomas by the Sternberg-Reed cells that are found in the lymph nodes. The lymphoma is treated with a combination of surgery, radiotherapy and drug therapy.
