Orange sun coral (Tubastraea sp.). Also known as sun polyps, corals of this genus do not host the symbiotic algae that provides energy to other corals via photosynthesis. Instead they extend their long tentacles at night to catch passing zooplankton. They are found throughout the Indo-Pacific region.
