Ladybird larva and parasitic phorid fly. Phorid fly (family Phoridae) on the larva of a ladybird (family Coccinellidae). Phorid flies parasitise other invertebrates by laying their eggs inside their larvae. The eggs then hatch and the fly larvae feed on the larval host before pupating.
