A witchcraft house on Tuesday Market Place in Tuesday Market Square, King's Lynn, Norfolk, associated with the legend of a witch burning. Window above door of No. 15 has symbol of lozenge containing a heart. In June 1616, the wife of a glovemaker was hanged as a witch in the Square, for having cursed to death a sailor. Before dying, she predicted that her heart would fly from her body and perch on the window of the magistrate who condemned her, and folklore insists that her heart, in the form of a bird, did fly and perch upon the marked window. - ?Topfoto / Fortean
