Girl swimming champion weds . Miss Phyllis Harding , the swimming champion , was married at St Alban ' s church , Golden Green , to Mr James Turner , a London solicitor . Miss Harding , a member of the Croydon Ladies swimming club , is the world back stroke champion and is holder of several world ' s records , She has swum for England in international events ever since 1929 .
