The fabulous house warming party given by Spanish millionaire Don Carlos De Bestegui Y Iturbi at his new palace on the Grand Canal, Venice, attracted the cream of the society from all over Europe. After dancing all night the one thousand or more guests were taken back to their hotels in Gondolas. Wine and food were also given to the thousands who thronged the streets and had their own party in the streets.
