London ; Its not everyday that a seven months old pet lion cub is a guest of honour , and that ' s the reason why attractive BOAC air hostess Joan Porter is making a fuss of the lion cub , Christian . Christian , who weighs 100 pounds , was a guest of honour at a preview of the film , " Safari Shores " , which is about East Africa and was shown to top travel agents today . The film is due to be released at the Odeon , Leicester Square for a six week run . The film was made for BOAC by Athos films in support of BOAC ' s East African holidays . Christian ' s other owner is Mr John Rendall . Both Mr Bourke and Mr Rendall live in World ' s End , Chelsea , London and both are Australians . 9 April 1970
