The lens capsule is opened and the natural lens is shattered then removed with a gel injected to stabilize the implant. This implant will analyze the curve of the lens and adapt eyesight to both long and short sight depending on the pathology. It is connected to a computer which handles calibration of the lens, battery charge, updates, maintenance and data transmission.
