A sculpture in the United Nations garden: 'Let Us Beat Swords into Plowshares', by the Soviet sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich. It was a gift from the Soviet Union to the UN, and illustrates the peaceful uses of military weapons. It is also a reference to a Biblical admonition.
