Former Palace Hotel, Iquitos, Peru is now Army headquarters. Covered with ornate painted tiles and of Moorish design, it was built between 1908 and 1912 during the height of the rubber boom. Located on the Malecon Tarapaca (River Walk), it is one of the most impressive rubber boom buildings in Iquitos.
