Arsenical pigmentation of the skin of the neck due to arsenic medicinally administered for chorea, c. 1903. 15 minims of liquor arsenicalis had been given to this boy three times a day for a period of six weeks. The lighter patches are due to a desquamation of the epidermis. There was no evidence of neuritis. Chorea is a neurological disorder characterized by jerky involuntary movements affecting especially the shoulders, hips, and face.
