Lassen Peak, 10,466 ft. elevation. Last erupted several hundred times between 1914 and 1921. The peak is located in Lassen Volcanic National Park in the southern end of the Cascade National Mountain Range. The park is approximately 160 square miles. It is named after Peter Lassen, who was an explorer and guide in the West, just over a century ago.
