Compared to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles, natural gas vehicles have much lower emissions and hence are much more environmentally friendly. Over the recent years they have been gaining more popularity and the necessary network fueling stations is being built, particularly in densely populated areas like Metropolitan Los Angeles. Shown here is a commercial natural gas fueling station located in Irvine in Southern California, built and operated by Clean Energy, the largest provider of natural gas for transportation in North America.
