Royal Spoonbill, juvenile - In flight (Platalea regia). Kupungarri Sewage Ponds, Kimberleys, Western Australia. Found largely across the eastern half of Australia with a few reported from Western Australia. Common in fresh and saline wetlands becoming rare in drier areas of its range where it may be found in billabongs or sewage ponds of inland townships.
