A young and fresh looking wedding dress designed by Norman Hartnell for Jill Benton Jones marriage to Mr William McAlpine in 1960. The material is of the palest shell pink double satin, with a close fitting bodice and very full skirt folded softly at the front and spreading into a long train at the back. The three quarter length veil of swirling tulle is faintly tinged with pink and held in place by a diadem of glittering stars.
