A not untypical scene in Plymouth which suffered heavy Blitz raids. One Fire Chief recorded that the devastation was as bad as he had witnessed in Coventry. The Corps of Canadian Fire-fighters (also known as the Volunteer Corps of Canadian Fire-fighters and simply as CCCF) were stationed in England between 1942 and 1945.
