Memorial to the non commissioned officers and men who fell on the Magersfontein Battlefield (near Kimberley) - Second Boer War, South Africa. The Battle of Magersfontein (11th December 1899), on the borders of the Cape Colony and the independent republic of the Orange Free State, was a Boer victory which halted the advance of British forces aiming to relieve the Siege of Kimberley.
