Jean-Francois Groff, computer programmer. Groff worked at CERN where Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web, a global network for information sharing based on hypertext documents. Groff was involved in developing early versions of the first web browser and editor software (initially named WorldWideWeb and later renamed Nexus to avoid confusion between the software and the World Wide Web). Photographed at CERN on 11 March 2019, during celebrations of 30 years of the World Wide Web.
