Estonia; island of Saaremaa (German/Swedish: 謘el); village of Angla: Angla mill hill (German: M黨lenberg von Angla; Estonian: Angla Tuulikum鋑i); open air museum. Historically; island of Saaremaa had up to 800 windmills. In 1925; on Angla mill hill; there were nine mills. The mill hill is the only one left; on Saaremaa; and a signature attraction of the island. Today; five mills are still on the Angla mill hill: 4 post mills (German: Bockwindm黨len) built in starting 19th century; and; in the middle; a higher one; a smock mill (German: Holl鋘derwindm黨le); of 1927. Restauration of the mills took place 1984 and 1985.
