Estonia; city of Tartu (German: former Dorpat; also D鰎pt): statue group Wilde & Wilde; installed 1999. The two statues sitting on a bank present Irish literate and poet Oscar Wilde (left; 1854 - 1900) and to the right Estronian writer and journalist Eduard Wilde (also: Eduard Vilde; 1865 - 1933) who became; in 1920; first ambassador of the newly independent Estonia; in Germany. The same statue group was erected in the pedestrian zone of Market Street; in Galway; Republic of ireland. These gropus symbolize the westernmost and esternmost ends of European Union (EU).
