Optical image of NGC 1792 galaxy. It is a spiral galaxy located in the Columba constellation. The optical appearance of this starburst galaxy is quite chaotic, due to the patchy distribution of dust throughout its disc. It is very rich in neutral hydrogen gas, which is fuel for the formation of new stars. Imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope.
