Gilded copper collar found in the tomb of the Lady of Cao. The Lady of Cao was a Moche female mummy found at the El Brujo archeological site near Trujillo, Peru. Objects found in her funeral bundle included weapons, jewellery and the remains of a teenage girl. The mummy had complex tattoos of animals on her body. The Moche were a pre-Inca civilisation that lived along Peru's north coast between 100 and 700 CE. The mummy has been dated to 450 CE.
