The Eaux Tortes upstream of the Vallon de Laverq, in Ubaye. The glacial cirque and the valley bottom of Les Eaux Tortes, at 2250 meters of altitude, are the result of the melting of a piece of the glacier de la Blanche. An interweaving of channels has carved peat bogs where a particular vegetation, adapted to this cold and humid altitude environment, has developed (rushes, sedges, mosses...).
