Top down view of a dew covered common wave moth (Cabera exanthemata) resting on a branch in a garden habitat. The flight period is from May to August with two generations each year. This species is a member of the Geometridae family and is found throughout the UK. The larval food plants are sallow and aspen. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in September.
