Superficial phlebitis in the leg of a thirty-three year old female patient, one day after taking the Pfizer Covid vaccine. Phlebitis is an inflammation of a vein that causes a painful, swollen, red and hot area on the skin. It may be caused by trauma, infection, childbirth or surgery. Treatment is with anti-inflammatory drugs and the wearing of support bandages.
