Treason Cast To Jury -- The case of former Sergant John David Provoo, accused of treason after the fan of Corregidor in 1942, went to the jury yesterday. Provoo 35, a Buddhist convert and Japanese language expert, was arrested in 1949 on charges of informing on his fellow American prisoners, participating in the beating of an American prisoners, participating in the beating of an American soldiers by Japanese troops, and causing the death of an Army captain.
