George Cavalevu (Vice Captain) - Second Five-Eighth. He was Captain of the Fijian team which toured New Zealand last year. He was educated at Queen Victoria School, the leading school for Fijians in the Colony, and is 24 years of age. He is 5ft. 8ins. tall and weighs 12st. 51bs. He is a motor mechanic. Is interested to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Zoo and is looking forward to gaining more Rugby experience in Australia. George Cavalevu was selected by this year's New Zealand Rugby Almanack as one of the five best players in New Zealand last season. July 28, 1952.
