Flint gun; Sober styled flint gun; probably of Dutch origin. The lock has sharply beveled edges; the rooster has been worked around. The loop is unadorned and unnoticed. The stock is grooved at the front; the butt knob is separated from the handle by a band of palm wood and screwed in the middle.
