Christ stands with his hands folded and dressed in a loincloth in the water. John; dressed in an animal skin and cloak; pours the water over Christ's head from a bowl. He holds a staff in his left hand. Both figures are under a double-arched Gothic architecture; resting on a slender column with nodus in the middle on the left and right. In the middle of the double arch; a hanging keystone is crowned by a pinnacle attack; while leaves sprout from the arches. Above it is a wall work. The background of the show is nicely shaded.
