Female perineum, illustration. A subcutaneous fat pad inferior to the pubis is the mons pubis with hairy skin. The vulva is composed of the skin folds of labia majora lateral to the smaller skin folds of labia minora. These surround the vestibule or entrance to the vagina and the urethral orifice.
