Vienna: Relief at base of monument for Dr. Karl Lueger (1844 - 1910); realized 1913 - 1916 by sculptor Josef M黮lner; 1926 inaugurated; the relief shows workers creating a gas pipieline. Due to the anti-Semitic populism of Lueger; in 2009; a new competition was launched to change the monument into a memorial against antisemitism and racism in Austria. In 2020; the monument was sprayed with red and yellow colours by activists of the Black Lives Matter movement.
