Harvest mice (Micromys minutus) climing on Umbellifer sp. plants. These small rodents are native to Europe and Asia. As extremely active climbers, they are usually found in areas of tall grass such as cereal crops, road side verges, and hedgerows. In these favourable habitats they feed on seeds, insects, nectar and fruit. Photographed in February, in Dorset, UK.
