Neil Munro, 1920. Neil Munro (1863-1930) was a popular and important Scottish journalist, newspaper editor, author and literary critic, who also wrote under the pseudonym Hugh Foulis. He was hailed at the time of his death as successor to Robert Louis Stevenson.
