This spiral galaxy lies around 37 million light-years from Earth, in the constellation Canes Venatici, and is one of several galaxies within the M51 Group, a cluster of galaxies named after the brightest one (M51A). Both are places where new stars are being born. Imaged at the Nighthawk Observatory, New Mexico, USA.
