Hubble image of free-floating gaseous globule (frEGGS) j025027.7+600849. This gaseous globule is located 6,000 light years away from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia. frEGGS are globules of dust and gas located in hot, ionised gas bubbles. These gas bubbles occur when new stars start to shine in the cold molecular gas they were formed in. The border (blue-purple, right) between the hot ionized gas bubble and frEGGS is seen in this image.
