This building, the Palais Brongniart, also known as the Palais de la Bourse, was designed by and posthumously named for the architect Alexandre-Theodore Brongniart (1739-1813). Built in the neo-classical Greek style, the colonnaded building was completed in 1825 with a limestone facade and sixty-four 10-metre-high limestone exterior columns.
