Helmet and mask of a warrior buried at Ancient Sindos, Thessaloniki. C. 520 BC. The warriors face was covered with a gold mask. The facial characteristics must have been created by pressing the gold sheet into the dead mans face, or into a cast. From Sindos tomb 115.
