Dr Walter J. Thompson, president of the Bureau of Industrial Psychology, who is the inventor of this instrument, the Anthropomorphometer, says it is capable of measuring the inner-being by outer-characteristics. The person to be tested is subjected to a series of physical measurements, which are then referred to their respective columns on the instrument and rated accordingly. Here is the Anthropomorphometer and the list of measurements for James B. Cook, an employee of the Sherwin Corp. in Philadelphia. New York, New York: 1928.
