EarthCARE (Earth Clouds, Aerosols, and Radiation Explorer) satellite, designed and built by Airbus, has passed its electromagnetic compatibility tests. The mission is a collaboration between the European Space Agency (ESA) and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and aims to investigate the role of clouds, aerosols, and radiation in the heating and cooling of Earths atmosphere. Airbus completed the compatibility tests in April 2023, and the satellite is scheduled to launch in May 2024.
