Camera zooms out from recently_hatched Vietnamese stick insect Medauroidea extradentata to adult on rose plant. Stick insects undergo incomplete metamorphosis which involves three stages: egg, nymph, and adult. Nymphs resemble miniature adults in nearly every way. These large stick insects can reach 110 mm in length. They are indigenous to Vietnam and are found in tropical forests there.
