Timelapse footage of clouds formed by wind over mountains. As moist air passes over mountains (along bottom) it is forced upwards and moisture condenses into clouds. On the downslope the air sinks again, but the passage over the mountains sets up a standing wave in the air, and where the air rises again past its dew point, stationary clouds forms at the peaks of the wave. Filmed over the Rocky Mountains in the USA in autumn.
