Harvestman, or daddy long legs Phalangium opilio, crawls across ground in Ohio. These delicate arachnids resemble spiders but they are not. Unlike spiders, their two main body parts abdomen and cephalothroax are joined, not separate. They are also unable to produce silk or venom. Also, unlike spiders which typically have eight eyes, harvestmen have only a single pair.
