Named after the one_eyed giant in Greek mythology due to its single obvious eyespot, Cyclops is actually a micro_ crustacean belonging to the copepod group. They can reach 2_3 mm in length and possess long drooping antennae. They are an important food source for fish, birds and larger crustaceans. Recorded under Rheinberg illumination.
