Camera pans the entire 65 kilometre length of the Teton Range of the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming. The Tetons provide a very clear example of fault block mountains created when one side of a fault rose high above the other due to uplifting and the other side fell. Fault block mountains lack foothills typical of other types of mountains and appear to rise abruptly from a flat plain. The Tetons are the youngest range of the Rockies and were formed between six and nine million years ago. They reach a height of 4,198 meters.
