Panorama from Columbia Hills, Mars. This view was obtained by the Mars Exploration Rover Spirit MER_A in July 2005. This view is from an area called the Columbia Hills, named after the astronauts who died on the space shuttle Columbia. Husband Hill is the peak seen towards the end of the pan, and is about 100 metres away. Earlier on are seen Larry磗 Lookout and Cumberland Ridge, which Spirit explored in April, May and June 2005. Parts of the rover are seen in the foreground, including the solar panels.
