Exterior, TILT up, MS, Door of Forgiveness, Renaissance style. Diego de Siloe worked on the lower section himself from 1535 to 1538. The upper section was overseen by Ambrosio de Vico in 1610 after de Siloe磗 death. The door belongs to the north transept of the main crossing. Above the central arch allegories of Faith and Justice are interwoven with carvings of flora and fauna of the grotesque. An inscription is alluding to the conquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs.
